Care of the individual receiving non-invasive ventilation

Non-invasive ventilation (such as CPAP and BiPAP) is becoming an increasingly common option for individuals with respiratory problems such as sleep apnoea, and certain neurological problems. This course is aimed at registered nurses and senior carers who may have to provide care for these individuals in their own homes or residential settings, where immediate help may not always be available. The aim of this course is to provide candidates with the underpinning knowledge, and basic practical skills to provide safe care to the individual requiring non-invasive ventilation.
